Services
Tidewater Pelvic Health provides pelvic physical therapy with a whole person, whole body approach because nothing works in isolation. We empower clients by providing the knowledge and skills to better manage symptoms long term and get the most out of every day.

Pelvic Pain
Many factors can cause tight or weak muscles at the base of your pelvis impacting how your pelvis, hips, tailbone, spine and trunk move functionally. Chronic pelvic and abdominal conditions such as endometriosis, IBS, painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis) and more, can contribute to or aggravate pelvic muscle pain.

Pain with Intercourse
Muscle tension and spasms, tissue sensitivity, painful scars and more may be creating pain impacting your enjoyment of sexual intimacy. Vaginismus, Vulvodynia, and Dyspareunia are all common diagnosis names for painful intercourse.

Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum
Minimize pregnancy related pain. Learn exercise and activity modifications. Review strategies to reduce risk of perineal tear severity. Receive guidance on postpartum recovery and return to running or high intensity exercises. Manage postpartum pain, pelvic dysfunction, or diastasis recti. Address perineal or caesarean scar mobility and sensitivity.

Bowel & Bladder Control
Incontinence, urgency & frequency, constipation, painful urination, painful bowel movements, frequent UTI-like symptoms, and waking up multiple times at night to urinate can all be signs of pelvic floor dysfunction.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Symptoms of pelvic or vaginal heaviness or bulging? Minimize your symptoms, maximize your strength, and live your life to the fullest without fear.

Orthopedic Care
Head to toe and every joint in between, we provide whole body, whole person care. Low back pain, hip pain, tailbone pain and more may have components of pelvic floor dysfunction!

Men's Pelvic Health
